She passed at 54. Way too young. She saw her daughter have a commitment ceromony last summer and had a pitbull grandbaby, but there could and should of been more.

She was the biggest Gunsmoke fan in the known universe.

She was truly a fighter, always bouncing back. I'm glad that her suffering is over, as her spirit is really in a better place.
She died at home with Melissa, Mckenzie, her husband, and best friend.

Affectionally we called her Grums, lol. She was amazing for so many reasons!

Things that Barbara aka Our Grums was really really lovely at:

-If you broke up with someone she would be the first person to agree with you that they are a douche.

-If you fell in love with somebody she would learn their name and welcome them with wide open arms

-Pronouns. She will never get your pronoun, chosen name, or meat eating preferences wrong. In a crowd like ours, alphabet soup is usually a given. But she ate it all up. FGL, YES, FTM, MTF, LGBTQ.

-Christmas

-Thanksgiving

-Easter

-Halloween

-Hugs and Kisses

-Loving hard.

I'm proud to have known her.
